SILFS–SISS Study Days: Logic, History, and Philosophy of Science

The Italian Society for Logic and Philosophy of Science (SILFS) and the Italian Society for the History of Science (SISS) are jointly promoting two study days dedicated to reflecting on the integration of logic, history, and philosophy of science, with the aim of overcoming disciplinary boundaries and strengthening a comprehensive understanding of the scientific enterprise. The initiative brings together scholars from different backgrounds to discuss research, methodologies, and perspectives, while also addressing institutional issues such as evaluation, publication practices, and the relationship between academia, schools, and society. The program includes one day of dialogues and thematic discussions, and a second day devoted to technical working groups aimed at drafting a shared programmatic document for the Phil-02 area.

University of Padua, DiSSGeA, Aula Bortolani, Via del Vescovado 30, 21–22 January 2026.

The invitation is extended to all researchers and to the SILFS and SISS communities, with particular attention to those working in logic, history, and philosophy of science, as well as to early-career scholars.
